There are two original designs to choose from. Each certificate includes a decorative front page for the couple and a detailed Islamic Marriage Certificate page with space for the information, signatures and witnesses connected with the Nikah.

Design 1: Blue & Gold Islamic Ornament
This version features a detailed blue, gold and floral border inspired by traditional Islamic decorative arts. It is the more colorful of the two options and works especially well when the finished certificate will be framed and displayed.

Design 2: Gold Islamic Ornament
The second design uses an ornate gold border with a quieter, more formal appearance. It is a good choice for couples who prefer a simpler color palette while keeping the traditional decorative character of the certificate.

What Is Included in the Nikah Certificate?
Each downloadable file contains two coordinated pages.
The first page is designed as the couple's commemorative marriage certificate. It includes Qur'an 30:21 together with spaces for the date, corresponding Hijri year, location, names of the couple and their signatures.
The second page provides additional fields for recording details of the Islamic marriage, including:
- Groom's name and date of birth
- Bride's name and date of birth
- Imam's name
- Mahr or dowry information
- Marriage date
- Witness names and signatures
- Bride and groom signatures
Because Nikah practices and documentation requirements can differ between communities, mosques and countries, check with your imam or officiant before the ceremony to confirm how they would like the certificate completed.
How to Print Your Islamic Marriage Certificate
For the best result, download the PDF rather than printing the preview image from your browser. The downloadable files are prepared so you can take them to a local print shop or professional printing center for a cleaner, higher-quality result.
We recommend choosing a quality heavyweight paper or cardstock with a smooth or lightly textured finish. Before printing the final copy, ask the print shop to confirm that the document is being printed at the correct scale and that none of the ornamental border is being cropped.
If you plan to frame the certificate, choose your frame first or ask the print shop to help you match the finished print size to the frame. Keeping one additional unfilled copy can also be useful in case you want to test pens or calligraphy before completing the final certificate.
How to Complete the Certificate for Your Nikah
Download your preferred English or Turkish version before the ceremony and review the fields with your imam or officiant. Names, dates and mahr details should be confirmed before they are written onto the final printed certificate.
For a polished result, use the same pen style and ink color throughout the document where practical. If you would like the couple's names written in calligraphy, you can also have those fields completed professionally before the ceremony, leaving the signature fields blank until the Nikah takes place.
After the ceremony, allow the ink to dry completely before placing the certificate in a frame or protective sleeve.
A Nikah Keepsake to Frame After the Wedding
A marriage certificate can become more than paperwork from the ceremony. Printed on substantial paper and carefully framed, it can remain part of the couple's home long after the wedding day.
The front page of both Fatma Sevildi Couture designs includes Qur'an 30:21, a verse often associated with marriage through its reference to comfort, compassion and mercy between spouses. The surrounding Islamic ornament was designed to give the certificate enough visual presence to be displayed as a wedding keepsake rather than stored away after the ceremony.
English and Turkish Versions
We have made both designs available in two languages so couples can choose the version that best suits their ceremony and family.
- English Islamic Marriage Certificate for English-speaking couples and international Nikah ceremonies
- Türkçe İslami Evlilik Belgesi for Turkish-speaking couples and ceremonies
You may download the version you need, or keep both language versions if your wedding brings together English and Turkish-speaking families.
Is This an Official Legal Marriage Certificate?
This printable certificate should not automatically be treated as a government-issued civil marriage certificate. Legal recognition of marriage and the documents required for civil registration vary by country and jurisdiction.
The Fatma Sevildi Couture certificate is provided as a printable document for a Nikah ceremony and as a commemorative record of the marriage. Couples should follow the civil marriage requirements applicable in their own country and consult their imam, officiant or relevant local authority if they have questions about legal documentation.
